Continuous Bleaching

Objective: We offer a highly efficient and continuous bleaching solution designed to remove color pigments, residual phosphates, metals, soaps, and oxidation products from various oils. Our process utilizes Bleaching Earth and activated Carbon, customized to meet specific process requirements.

Key Process Details:

1. Two-Stage Continuous Bleaching:
   • The continuous bleaching process consists of two stages.
   • In the first stage, the oil is heated to 100 – 110°C and mixed with Bleaching Earth.
   • The oil is then maintained at an appropriate temperature and agitated with specially designed turbine blades under vacuum.
   • Oil is sprayed through specially designed nozzles, mixed with Bleaching Earth, and given sufficient retention time for effective bleaching.
   • This stage also helps remove moisture from the vessel.
2. Filtration and Polishing:
   • In the second stage, the oil slurry is pumped to a set of vertical pressure leaf filters, with two filters used alternately.
   • These filters efficiently separate oil from Bleaching Earth, and the resulting cake is discharged through a bottom actuated Butterfly Valve.
   • After filtration, the oil is further polished through Candle Type Polish Filters to remove any remaining particles.
